So far everything is just about back to normal since the technician has almost finished the repairs of the pumps. He said that he will have to come back tomorrow and finish the job since there is still a whole lot of stuff that he has to clean or take care of. I didn't know that gasoline can become so dirty and useless but that was what I was told. So it seems to me that he will have to come and clean some of those pipes underneath the cement that cars drive on. Something that I don't understand well since I just sell fuel and not worry about all of this technical stuff. We just let these companies and staff worry about that.
With that said I just want to say that this will still not get the fuel price lowered because the gas price will remain the same as usual while tomorrow some other grades will be shut off. I would bet that premium and midgrade will be shut off tomorrow when the tech does his work. The bright side of all this will be that diesel and regular gasoline will be up and running. So I guess all is not lost tomorrow at the workplace.
